![]() For me, I love Mac for a laptop for a number of reasons. So help me put my mind at peace! How do you justify, if you had to, your purchase of a MacBook Pro/iMac these days? I know it's best to let them be, but in my mind, I can't rest until I can formulate a logical opinion, even if I don't go ahead with posting it. It was like there was no way to show any reason to them. Sold it at a good value after years of use? Just goes to show that the person who bought the Mac is equally ignorant. Runs stable? You clearly don't know how to maintain a Windows. The PC folks replying to him had a counterpoint for everything he was mentioning. And he was able to find a good resale value even after using the computer for many years. He explained that macOS continued to run stable on that computer. I saw this particular thread where someone was saying how Macs hold up their usability and value over the long term. I use both and I find macOS better for productivity and Windows better for gaming/casual computer use. I still find it hard to explain why I love a Mac. So I know firsthand that PCs are more customizable and provide more raw power than a comparable Mac. ![]() I use the Macs for all my daily work and resort to the PC for gaming and photo editing. I have a gaming PC at home that I use. ![]() But looking at the comment section of YouTube videos has got me wondering, what's the best way to make a PC guy realize that we are making an informed, personalized decision when we choose to buy a Mac? I know you don't have to justify your decision to others. ![]()
